One spring day, a little goat was warming himself in the sun on a roof. He said to himself, "I feel warm and sleepy." At this moment, the goat saw a wolf passing by. The goat hit upon a good idea. "It will be fun to bother that wolf. Besides, it's safe up here." The little goat shouted at the wolf. "Hey, wolf! Catch me! I am not afraid of you. Catch me, please." The wolf looked quietly at the goat and said, "Goat, you can shout at me now, not because of your bravery, but because of where you are. Just come down here and then shout at me again." The little goat turned pale and the wolf just kept on going.

작은 염소와 늑대 

어느 봄날, 작은 염소 한 마리가 지붕 위의 태양 아래 몸을 따뜻하게 데우고 있었어요. 그는 스스로에게 이렇게 말했어요. “따뜻하고 졸린 기분이야.” 이 순간 염소는 늑대가 지나가는 것을 보았어요. 염소는 좋은 생각을 떠올렸어요. "늑대를 괴롭히는 건 재미있을 거야. 게다가, 여기는 안전해." 작은 염소는 늑대에게 소리쳤어요. “이봐, 늑대야! 날 잡아! 난 네가 두렵지 않아."날 잡아 봐." 늑대는 조용히 염소를 바라보며 말했어요. “염소야, 네가 지금 나에게 소리칠 수 있는 것은 너의 용감함 때문이 아니라 지금 네가 있는 곳 때문이야. 그냥 이리 내려와서 다시 소리쳐봐.” 작은 염소는 창백해졌고 늑대는 계속 가던 길을 나아갔어요.​
